Somepoorna's chief arm is extended into Theatre. We have an entrusted group of enthusiastic and talented artists; branching ourselves principally into Street Plays, educating youngsters to theatre, acting and directing plays for hobby artists.
The staple drive of the group has been to work on novel ideas and take proactive steps to make positive changes in our society. This is taken charge by revolving themes of the plays around the lingering pressing social issues.
Our assets have been our strong scripting and potentiality of binding the themes with common man and his life, which is identified in the speech of the plays. All our plays are served with undivided humor and honest sentiments. Respecting the intensity and shifts music can create. We employ our own compositions to impact the plays.
Somepoorna has closely worked with NGOs and Art schools to cater to various subjects, keeping its primary vision in focus. Some of our prominent plays:
Vobbha anthu anishta, vobba ballalli dhustha, vobba thumba ne nishta, idralli avn bit, avn bit, ivn yaaro? "Avn Bit, Avn Bit, Ivn Yaaru?" is a play which revolves round four characters namely Paapu, Daya, Ranga and Sanjeeva. All the four character are best of friends from child hood, but still distinct individuals in personality. It is how there attitude takes them to different paths in life and they brutally succumb to cruelty of life and time. They rediscover themselves when the much matured amongst the four - Ranga, a thorough patriot and a man of commitment brings back his pals to the right way of life. The play finds a happy ending when all the friends commit to hard work and start an establishment named PaaDaRaSa.
This play addresses the various loopholes in our countries system and suggests a fix which has to be enforced in each one of us.
This play was performed and well attended at the Vivekananda park near Shankar Mutt, Mahalakshmipuram, Bangalore and Kannada Rajyotsava celebratrions at Basham Circle organized by Basham Circle Youth Association, Bangalore.

This play peeps into life of three youngsters . who are at the verge of committing suicide. There is a funny run through their college days and the way they take life for granted for which they pay a huge price later.
This is a play with a stringent flavour of Optimism. It portrays how - what an individual conceives and believes reflects on his life. It optimistically shows how we are responsible for having the present political system and what we can do contribute in making it better.
'Sath Praje' reveals the importance of Voter's ID card. It was partnered with Public Affairs Centre (PAC) for Election Commission of India.
'Sath Praje' was performed in many famous joints and happening places of Bangalore city. Some of which included Malls, Shopping Complexes, Food joints etc. This play was also aired in a Popular Local Channel recorded in an indoor auditorium with a single flawless take.

Grace Apartment Express .should be counted as a stint we had at making small children enact a ballad-play. This was done in association with Carnatica- Global Gurukulam, a musical school which runs a unit in RT Nagar, Banglaore( A branch of Carnatica, Chennai). The play was performed at Ranga Shankara open theatre with good hearted support from Mrs. Arundathi Nag, who awarded us the place which is considered as dream theatre of any artist in our country, for free of cost.
Somepoorna is unwaveringly extending its horizons into professional stage plays in the near future. We have two promising scripts on which our artists have already started rolling their feet on. The next big thing in limelight at SAF is 'AVNU'.
